You’ve found yourself in a digital age of capitalist targeted advertising and the ‘post truth’ phenomenon, where concerns are raised about the legitimacy of the online media, social control and manipulation of the masses. The following sponsored content has been appropriated from trusted sources, delegitimising its truth, and using its own propaganda tactics to shock and indoctrinate a set of belief systems into its audience.

You will believe that the commercial, capitalist forms of visual pollution can be taken, and used for yourself. Steal from those that can afford to be stolen from and claim it as your own. Make the internet great again.

Cloud Gazing - by Holly Rae Jones - £30
In her debut photo book, "Cloud Gazing', Holly Rae Jones leads us through a dreamy and hedonistic world scattered with clues of the decadence of the past. Vending machines dispensing only bouquets of flowers, karaoke booths with ancient patterned wallpaper, sun-bleached Hollywood shop window displays. These images - at times bordering on kitsch - are fascinated with tired consumerism and have a sad but celebratory quality to them. Nothing is straightforward in the world that Jones crafts; she asks the viewer whether the clouds they are gazing at are a picture of clouds or a picture of a picture of clouds.
The photographs in this book are augmented with graphics from Hope Roalfe.
Poisonous Berries - by Sasha Kurmaz - £10
In Poisonous Berries, Sasha Kurmaz explores notions of individualization and sexuality caught between the ideological spectres of his native Ukraine. Cut and paste collage of Orthodox iconography is echoed by Soviet-era ruins and juxtaposed with provocative photography; all printed onto 60gsm Offenbach bible paper.
